We were asked to create a full 10 minute long video to fit in line with a wider series of 'shop talk' episodes from Autoform. This particular episode was shot at TATA Steel -Steelpark Wednesfield (in partnership with TATA Steel) and features Kevin Edgar: TATA Steel’s Sales Director (Tubes) and Bart Carleer: AutoForm’s Technical Director discussing the challenges faced by OEMs during the next generation processes for vehicle manufacturing.

Filming on the factory floor posed many challenges including lighting and working around an active manufacturing environment. The main challenge above all else was the audio, the factory floor was so loud the participants struggled to hear each other during their conversation. During post production we were able to use advanced audio isolation software to isolate the speech of both participants which still allowed some background noise for ambience and also allowed us to clearly hear both Kevin and Bart speak during their conversation.

The video was shot on the shop floor of Wednesfield site during daily operations to capture the ambience of a real life working production line. This was a creative decision made by the client to show the real world environment that their materials software will be used in.
